MANILA, Philippines – K-pop girl group Red Velvet brought their “HAPPINESS: My Dear, ReVe1uv” fan concert to the Mall of Asia Arena last weekend, marking their 10th anniversary with a vibrant performance for Filipino fans.
The quintet, composed of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Yeri, and Joy, delighted the audience with a nostalgic setlist that included their debut song “Happiness” and hits like “Ice Cream Cake,” “Red Flavor,” and “Psycho.”
“Na-miss ko kayong lahat,” Irene greeted in Filipino, drawing cheers from the crowd. Wendy also expressed her gratitude, saying, “Sobrang masaya talaga ako na makita ko ulit ang Luvies dito sa Philippines.” The members were consistently impressed by the energy of the Filipino ReVeluvs, calling them the “best” audience of their Asian tour.
The concert featured a special segment called “Red Velvet Advise Consultation” where the group read messages from fans and shared their appreciation. They also treated fans to a vibrant Parade stage with confetti and flower-shaped plushies.
Throughout the night, the venue was filled with a sea of pink, yellow, blue, green, and purple – the symbolic colors representing each member. Fans even unfurled a giant banner reading, “Thank you for the happiness. Loving you is the easiest thing I have ever done,” which deeply touched the members.
Red Velvet’s performance was a testament to their enduring popularity and the strong connection they share with their fans. The girls expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and promised to return to Manila soon.
“Maraming-maraming salamat po for keeping the energy from the start to finish,” Seulgi said. “You are the best! Kitakits tayo ulit!”
Red Velvet will continue their Asia fan concert tour, concluding in Macau on September 28.
