**KOLKATA, INDIA** – Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Tajikistan’s FC Ravshan played out a goalless draw in their AFC Champions League Two Group A match on Wednesday.
The first half saw Ravshan dominate possession, with Kholmuod Nazarov’s free kick narrowly missing the target and Muhammadjon Rahimov forcing a save from Vishal Kaith. Mohun Bagan struggled to break down a well-organized Ravshan defense, despite the presence of Jason Cummings and Dimitrios Petratos.
Despite their underwhelming first half performance, Mohun Bagan manager Jose Molina opted not to make any changes at the break. Meanwhile, his counterpart Masoud Nazarzadeh brought on Kristian Mocic and Jamshed Maksumov for Ravshan.
The second half saw Mohun Bagan introduce Liston Colaco and Lalengmawia Ralte in search of a breakthrough, but they still couldn’t find a way past Yevhen Hrytsenko in the Ravshan goal.
A late chance for Cummings to secure a win for Mohun Bagan was wasted, as his attempt to chip Hrytsenko lacked the necessary height.
Mohun Bagan will now face Iranian club Tractor FC in their next ACL Two match in two weeks’ time.
