**Paris, France** – Logitech has unveiled a range of new gaming products at its annual Logi Play event, including new esports-grade peripherals, an expanded line of sim racing gear, and a more affordable Astro A50 headset.
**Esports Domination:** Logitech introduced the Superlight 2 Dex, an ergonomic right-handed mouse, and the Pro 2 Lightspeed, an updated version of the original G Pro Wireless, both featuring cutting-edge technology. They also unveiled the Pro X TKL Rapid keyboard, their first rapid trigger keyboard, incorporating popular features like rapid trigger and SOCD, commonly seen in rival products.
**Sim Racing Expansion:** Logitech is expanding its sim racing lineup with new Racing Series products, including the Track Wheel, Round Wheel, QR adapter, Wheel Hub, and a two-in-one Shifter and Handbrake. While the shifter will be available in the UK, the rest of the lineup is currently only available in the US.
**Premium Typing Experience:** Logitech unveiled the G915 X keyboard, featuring premium PBT keycaps, improved actuation points, and increased battery life. The G915 X maintains its popular low-profile design and boasts enhanced customization features.
**Affordable Astro A50:** The new 5th-gen Astro A50 ditches the HDMI hub of the A50 X, lowering the price point to £299. It retains key features, including Pro-G graphene audio drivers and Lightspeed wireless connectivity, while adding support for docked Switch play.
**AI-Powered Highlights:** Logitech also unveiled the AI Game Highlighter, a free software tool that automatically creates social media-ready highlight reels from live stream footage. Currently supported for Fortnite, the tool is set to expand to other games.
**Logitech’s Catch-Up Game?** While the new products address long-standing requests from fans, some industry observers note a trend of Logitech adopting features pioneered by competitors rather than leading the charge. This sparks debate on whether the company is pushing the boundaries of gaming technology or simply catching up to the competition.
Logitech’s new products will be available starting September 17th.
