**Tokyo, Japan -** The upcoming live-action adaptation of Yui Tamura’s popular manga *Mr. Yano’s Ordinary Days* (Yano-kun no Futsū no Hibi) has unveiled a new teaser trailer and updated poster, showcasing the film’s cast and its November 15th release date.

The teaser features the comedic misfortunes of protagonist Tsuyoshi Yano, a perpetually unlucky high schooler, and Kiyoko Yoshida, the classmate who becomes his self-appointed guardian angel. The trailer also reveals the film’s insert song, “Staying with You” performed by the popular idol group Travis Japan.

The poster reveals additional cast members joining the film, though their specific roles remain under wraps for now. The film’s director, Takehiko Shinjō, and the screenwriting trio of Noriaki Sugihara, Kei Watanabe, and Hajime Ibuki are bringing Tamura’s heartwarming and comedic story to life. Composer Nobuaki Nobusawa is tasked with creating the musical backdrop for the film.

*Mr. Yano’s Ordinary Days* tells the story of Yano’s daily struggles, amplified by his persistent bad luck, and the unwavering support he receives from Yoshida. The manga’s popularity has also spurred the creation of an anime adaptation.

Tamura launched the manga in June 2021 on Kodansha’s Comic Days website, and it is currently ongoing. The seventh compiled volume was released on December 14th.
