**Perth, WA** – Hockey WA is excited to announce two HockeyEd Coaching Education Programs taking place at Perth Hockey Stadium this October. These programs, aimed at teachers, parents, players, and coaches involved in club hockey, offer valuable training for aspiring and current coaches.

**Two Programs, Two Nights**

The programs will be held over two Wednesday nights:

* **Development Lead Coach Education Program:** Wednesday, October 16th, 6:00pm-9:00pm
* **Foundation Lead Coach Education Program:** Wednesday, October 23rd, 6:00pm-9:00pm

**Development Lead Coach Program**

The Development Lead Coach program is designed for coaches working with intermediate to advanced Junior & Senior players, as well as coaches involved in tournament environments. Participants will learn skills to develop players, foster positive team dynamics, and ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive experience. The program includes four online modules, a face-to-face workshop, a practical coaching assessment, and a self-reflection.

**Foundation Lead Coach Program**

The Foundation Lead Coach program is ideal for beginner coaches looking to create positive environments and lead teams. This program involves an online course and a three-hour face-to-face workshop, where participants can apply their learnings.

**Registration and Fee**

To participate in either program, participants must register online with Hockey Australia and pay a $50.00 fee. Detailed registration instructions, learning outcomes, and competencies can be found on the Hockey WA website.
