Glynn Academy’s Lady Terrors secured the City Championship softball title with a 2-1 victory over Brunswick High on Tuesday. The game was a nail-biter, with Glynn Academy securing the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Brunswick High’s lone run came in the third inning, with Raegan Walczak hitting a hard grounder to score Nijah Story.
The third and deciding game of the series, originally scheduled for Wednesday, was postponed due to weather and is now set for Friday at 4 p.m.
The Lady Terrors are now 11-7 overall and 7-0 in their division, while Brunswick High sits at 8-8 and 4-6.
