**Melbourne, Australia** – Cricket Victoria (CV) has announced its full support for Cricket Australia’s (CA) Code of Conduct Commission’s decision to ban former coach Dulip Samaraweera for 20 years. The ban stems from a serious breach of CA’s Code of Conduct, involving inappropriate behavior deemed offensive.

Samaraweera, who previously held coaching positions with Cricket Victoria, is no longer employed by the organization. CV CEO Nick Cummins stated, “We strongly support the decision taken by the Code of Conduct Commission today, banning Dulip Samaraweera for 20 years.
