Thu Sep 19 17:09:16 UTC 2024: ## Modi Accuses Congress of Insulting Hindu Faith, Links Party to Pakistan’s Agenda in J&K

**Jammu, India:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of insulting Hindu faith during his recent US visit. He also alleged that the Congress, in alliance with the PDP and NC, aims to implement Pakistan’s agenda in Jammu and Kashmir, including the reinstatement of Article 370.

Addressing a public rally in poll-bound Jammu, Modi stated that Gandhi’s remarks about “devi-devta” in the US were an insult to Hindu faith and culture. He claimed that the Congress was willing to compromise faith for votes and that Gandhi’s comments were part of a “naxal mindset” imported from other countries.

“The Congress heir went abroad and said that our ‘devi-devta’ are not gods… It is an insult to our faith,” Modi said, adding that the party should be punished for this “planned conspiracy.”

Modi further alleged that the Congress, if voted to power, would implement the manifesto of the PDP and NC, including the reinstatement of Article 370, which would lead to bloodshed in the Kashmir Valley. He claimed that Pakistan is supporting this alliance and that their agendas are aligned.

“Every vote given to Congress will implement the manifesto of PDP and NC. They want to bring back Article 370. This means they want bloodshed in the valley again,” Modi stated. He added that Pakistan’s Defense Minister had openly supported the Congress-NC alliance, highlighting the dangerous implications of their partnership.

Despite these accusations, Modi assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that Article 370 will not be reinstated under his leadership. He emphasized that “no power in the world” could bring back the article, reiterating his government’s firm stance against Pakistan’s agenda in the region.

The Prime Minister’s remarks are likely to further escalate political tensions in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the upcoming elections.
