Canberra Raiders prop Josh Papalii is at the centre of an investigation by ACT Police following an incident at a licensed premises in the city early Monday morning. According to reports, Papalii was present when two men allegedly smashed glasses and refused to leave the establishment.

Police responded to a request for assistance from the venue around 3:10 am, finding the two men behaving aggressively and refusing to comply with requests to leave. After initial engagement with police, the men briefly departed but returned before being escorted out by a third individual.

While no charges have been laid at this time, ACT Police have confirmed that their inquiries into the matter are ongoing. The Raiders have also acknowledged the incident, stating that they have informed the NRL Integrity Unit.
