**CUMBERLAND, MD** – Allegany High School senior Avery Miller, a multi-talented athlete with national recognition in track and field, has committed to Penn State University on a full athletic scholarship. Miller, who is the second-ranked heptathlete in the Class of 2025, chose Penn State over several other prestigious universities, including N.C. State, Minnesota, and Southern Methodist University.
