**Jajpur:** An educationist in Jajpur received a startling surprise on Monday while dropping his car off for servicing at Tentulikhunta. He discovered a python hiding inside his vehicle, its tail peeking out near the dashboard.
The mechanics at the service center were understandably panicked and contacted Snake Helpline member Manibhadra Mallick for assistance. Upon arriving at the scene, Mallick found the python had already retreated into the car’s AC duct.
The rescue operation proved to be a challenging one, taking over five hours for Mallick and local residents to coax the snake out. Finally, the reptile was successfully removed and released back into its natural habitat in a nearby forest.
