Wed Sep 18 04:23:00 UTC 2024: ## AFLW Star Chloe Dalton Calls for Gender Equity in Sport with New Kayo Series

**Sydney, Australia** – GWS Giants star and triple-sport icon Chloe Dalton is using her platform to drive conversations around gender equity in sport with Kayo Sports’ new series, “Everyone’s Game.”

Dalton, a former WNBL basketballer and Olympic rugby sevens gold medalist, is currently sidelined with a back injury but remains vocal about the challenges women face in professional sport.

“Everyone’s Game” explores issues such as pay disparity, injury disparities, and the pressure to perform in a male-dominated environment.

“We wanted to do it in a way where we’re not sitting there complaining about things without working out the issue, and how we actually find a solution to it,” Dalton said.

The series features personal stories from athletes like Dalton, as well as expert commentary, aiming to create a platform for open discussion and solutions.

One particularly poignant example discussed is the high rate of ACL injuries among female AFL players, exemplified by the recent injury to Sydney superstar Chloe Molloy.

Dalton emphasizes the need for greater awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by female athletes, advocating for a more inclusive and equitable sporting landscape.

“I really hope it shows people that it’s okay to speak publicly and openly about issues that are impacting them, but at the same time fix things to make (the industry) safe, more welcoming and inclusive for women and girls across all levels of sport,” she said.

“Everyone’s Game” is available to stream on the Kayo Sports YouTube channel.
