**New Delhi, September 17, 2024:** Reliance Jio users across India experienced a widespread network outage on Tuesday, affecting mobile internet, calls, and JioFiber services.
According to Down Detector, a connectivity intelligence platform, over 65% of complaints received were related to signal issues, while 19% and 16% were regarding mobile internet and JioFiber, respectively.
Users took to social media to express their frustration, reporting issues accessing the Jio app, website, and even recharge systems.
“Jio appears to be facing an outage. Even their recharge systems/portals are down,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Other telecom operators, including Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL, are reportedly functioning normally.
This outage comes just months after Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea significantly raised their tariffs.
Reliance Jio has not yet commented on the outage or provided an estimated time for service restoration.
