**Hulunbuir, China:** The Indian Men’s Hockey Team secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Korea in the semi-final of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 on Monday.

India started the match with aggressive intent, with Uttam Singh opening the scoring in the first quarter. Harmanpreet Singh then doubled the lead with a penalty corner conversion before Jarmanpreet Singh added another goal to extend the advantage.

Korea managed to pull one back through Jihun Yang in the third quarter, but Harmanpreet Singh secured his second goal of the match just seconds later to effectively seal the victory.

The defending champions displayed a dominant performance throughout the game, effectively stifling Korean attacks and creating numerous scoring opportunities.

“We played exceptionally well today, we are happy to advance to the final,” said Player of the Match, Jarmanpreet Singh. “Sumit provided me with a splendid ball for the goal and I am thankful to my roommate, who understands me so well, for setting up the goal for me.”

India will now face China in the final on Tuesday, aiming to defend their title and claim the Asian Champions Trophy for the second consecutive time.
