**JERUSALEM** – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has concluded its investigation into the deaths of three Israeli hostages, Corporal Nik Beizer, Sergeant Ron Sherman, and Elia Toledano, who were killed in Hamas’ October 7 attack.
The investigation determined that the hostages were likely killed in an Israeli airstrike in November, which also targeted a senior Hamas militant, Ahmed Abu Ghandour. The IDF based its conclusion on the location where the bodies were recovered, pathological reports, and other intelligence gathered.
