**Anantpur:** India A secured a resounding 186-run victory over India D in the second round match of the Duleep Trophy 2024, thanks to impressive performances from Tilak Varma and Shams Mulani.
India D, needing 426 runs to win with nine wickets in hand on Day 4, were undone by a relentless bowling attack led by Mulani and Tanush Kotian. While Ricky Bhui fought valiantly for India D with a century (113), his efforts were in vain as the team fell short.
Kotian, who picked up four wickets, and Mulani, who bagged three, combined to dismantle India D’s batting lineup. Earlier on Day 3, Tilak Varma had laid the foundation for India A’s victory with a brilliant century (111), setting a challenging target of 488 for India D.
