**Frankfort, KY** – The annual National POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 9:15 a.m. at the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Frankfort. This year’s event will focus on honoring Kentucky’s missing servicemen from the Vietnam War.
Attendees are invited to lay flowers on the names of the 15 Kentuckians listed as Missing in Action (MIA) and hear stories about their service. The ceremony will take place at the memorial, located at 365 Vernon Cooper Lane.
The event is open to the public and serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who served during the Vietnam War.
