**Liverpool, UK** – Hollyoaks actor Tyler Conti, who plays the villainous Abe Fielding, has revealed he has been subjected to online threats from viewers who seem unable to separate him from his character.
“There are some viewers who can’t separate the character from me,” Conti told reporters. “Maybe they are not mentally well. I have had threats. They say things like, ‘If I ever see you in the street, you’re going to get it’ and ‘I’m going to find you’. It can be a bit worrying.”
Despite the chilling threats, Conti is enjoying playing the role of Abe, who has been terrorizing his girlfriend Cleo McQueen in one of the show’s darkest storylines. “I want to tell this story,” he explained. “I want to raise awareness about dangerous relationships. I want people to watch the storyline and then look at their own behaviour.”
Meanwhile, Hollyoaks star Gregory Finnegan, who plays lawyer James Nightingale, is set to release a new memoir, “The World According to Grog.” The memoir, which will share insights into Finnegan’s personal and private life off-screen, promises to be a collection of funny stories about his acting career.
“It’s a collection of stories and anecdotes,” Finnegan said. “As actors, we can work flat out or be completely dead at work, but I had a bit of time at the start of the year and I had a few funny stories about auditions I’ve had, people I’ve met, and the funny interactions I’ve had. It kind of snowballed, and I had a lot.”
Fans of the show are eagerly awaiting both the conclusion of the dark Abe and Cleo storyline and the release of Finnegan’s new memoir.
