**Hong Kong, [Date]** – Cathay Group has announced a bold investment strategy totaling over HK$100 billion over the next seven years, aiming to elevate its customer experience and strengthen Hong Kong’s international aviation hub status. The investment will be focused on fleet expansion, cabin product upgrades, airport lounge improvements, digital initiatives, and sustainability efforts.
**Fleet Expansion:** Cathay Group will acquire 30 Airbus A330-900 aircraft, with an option for 30 more, to join Cathay Pacific’s fleet and serve destinations in Asia.

**Strong Financial Performance:** Despite this significant investment, Cathay Group reported a profit of HK$3.6 billion in the first half of 2024, reflecting its successful rebuilding journey.
