**HASTINGS** – The Hastings College JV volleyball team dominated North Platte Community College in a straight-set victory on Thursday. The Broncos showcased their strength early on, going on a 10-point run in the first set to secure a 25-13 win.
Nya Lual led the way for Hastings with eight kills, while Ella Rotherham and Kathryn Folkers contributed three kills each. Rotherham and Trinity Beutler also chipped in with three service aces.
Despite a strong start by the Knights in the second set, Hastings took control and ultimately won 25-16. The third set followed a similar pattern, with the Broncos ultimately securing a 25-18 win to complete the sweep.
North Platte will look to bounce back on Friday against Southwestern University JV in Coffeyville, Kansas.
