Charles Leclerc secured his fourth consecutive pole position in Baku for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, leading the race with a strong performance during qualifying. The Ferrari driver edged out McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and his teammate Carlos Sainz to claim the top spot.
Sergio Perez and George Russell finished fourth and fifth respectively, while Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton settled for sixth and seventh.
The qualifying session saw a bizarre incident involving Alex Albon. The Williams driver was forced to pull over on the track after an airbox cooler was left on his car during a pit lane exit.
