**DOHA** – Saudi Arabia and Qatar have taken a significant step towards strengthening their security cooperation by signing an agreement to exchange personal data and information. This agreement, signed by the Ministers of Interior of both countries, will allow the two nations to share crucial information for the purpose of enhancing security measures.

The agreement was formalized during official talks between Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud and Sheikh Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force in Qatar. The meeting, held at the Qatari Ministry of Interior in Doha, also saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaboration in scientific, training, and research activities between the two countries’ interior ministries.

Both sides expressed their commitment to continued cooperation in security matters, highlighting the importance of joint efforts to strengthen security measures and combat potential threats. The agreement represents a key step in the ongoing efforts to enhance regional security and foster closer ties between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
