**New Delhi, September 11:** Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks about minorities and the RSS in the US, asserting that minorities are the safest in India and that the country’s Constitution and culture do not discriminate.
Responding to Gandhi’s accusation that the RSS views certain religions, languages, and communities as inferior, Rijiju stated, “No matter the amount of effort made, India cannot be defamed because India’s Constitution and culture do not differentiate between people.” He further emphasized that individuals seeking to defame India with the help of anti-India forces will fail.
Rijiju highlighted that minorities from India’s neighboring countries often seek refuge in India when facing difficulties, underscoring the country’s commitment to inclusivity.
The Minister also dismissed Gandhi’s claims about China occupying Indian land, stating that “no one has been able to take over our land” since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power. He further challenged opposition leaders to accompany him to the border, asserting that China’s occupation is “not possible.”
Rijiju’s statements come in response to Gandhi’s address to Indian Americans in Virginia, where he criticized the RSS and emphasized the fight for equality and inclusivity in India.
