**Indianapolis, IN** – The Indiana Fever fell to the Las Vegas Aces 86-75 on Wednesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, kicking off a back-to-back home series against the reigning champions. Despite the loss, the Fever saw strong performances from star guard Kelsey Mitchell and rookie phenom Caitlin Clark.
Mitchell continued her recent scoring surge, racking up 24 points on the night, including 4-of-7 shooting from three-point range. This marks her 12th 20-point game in her last 14 outings.
