**Southampton, England:** Australia claimed a convincing 28-run victory over England in the first ODI of the series, thanks to a blistering half-century from Travis Head and a disciplined bowling performance.
Head, the Player of the Match, smashed a quick-fire 50 off just 25 balls, setting the tone for Australia’s impressive 179/9 in 20 overs. His innings included 7 boundaries and a six, leaving England’s bowlers struggling to contain his aggressive approach.
