**Mangalore, September 13, 2024:** G. Sampath Kumar Yadav of Andhra Pradesh has made history by becoming the first swimmer from the Telugu States to win a bronze medal in the men’s 800-meter freestyle at the ongoing Senior National Aquatics Championship in Mangalore. Yadav achieved this feat with a time of 08:28.35 on Wednesday.
The Andhra Pradesh Amateur Aquatic Association (APAAA) secretary, A. Mohan Venkat Ram, has extended his congratulations to Yadav and expressed hope that this achievement will inspire other young athletes to pursue their dreams.
