Thu Sep 12 05:22:00 UTC 2024: ## Teenager Killed in Alor Gajah After Tree Falls on Motorcycle
**ALOR GAJAH** – An 18-year-old motorcyclist, Ikhmal Hakimi Hasrul Rizuan, was tragically killed after a tree fell on him while he was riding along Jalan Perindustrian Kelemak here on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at around 6:30 am. Ikhmal Hakimi was riding home to Taman Lendu Bakti Masjid Tanah after finishing his night shift at a local factory when the tree came crashing down, crushing his motorcycle and fatally injuring him. The impact flung the victim 30 meters from the site of the accident.
Alor Gajah OCPD, Supt Ashari, confirmed the incident, stating that the victim died instantly from a severe head injury. The victim’s body has been sent to Alor Gajah Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Police are investigating the incident under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
