Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi expressed his amusement and appreciation for the inclusion of his viral comment about the struggles of outsiders in the film industry in Ananya Panday’s new OTT show, “Call Me Bae”.

The comment, originally made during a 2020 roundtable interview with Ananya, was used in a scene where a security guard interacts with Ananya’s character. Siddhant, known for his roles in films like “Gehraiyaan” and “Kho Gaye Hum Kahan”, stated that he found the reference “funny” and “cute”.

He expressed his happiness that the show’s makers found the line significant enough to incorporate. Siddhant is currently preparing to host IIFA Rocks 2024 with Abhishek Banerjee. His upcoming film, “Yudhra”, directed by Ravi Udyawar, is slated for release on September 20th.

“Call Me Bae”, directed by Collin D’Cunha and created by Ishita Moitra, follows the story of billionaire fashionista Bae (Ananya) who faces challenges after being disowned by her family. The show, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, is currently trending on Prime Video.
