Tue Sep 10 17:00:58 UTC 2024: ## Oklahoma State Lands Three-Star Quarterback Jett Niu in 2025 Class

**STILLWATER, OK -** The Oklahoma State Cowboys have bolstered their quarterback room for the future, securing a commitment from three-star prospect Jett Niu. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback from Lehi, Utah, joins the Cowboys’ 2025 recruiting class after decommitting from Appalachian State earlier this week.

Niu, who also held offers from Arizona and Washington State, impressed with his impressive junior season at Lehi High, throwing for 2,812 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He has continued his strong play into his senior season, already surpassing 700 passing yards with eight touchdowns in just three games.

“We are excited to add Jett to our program,” said Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy. “He is a talented young quarterback with a lot of potential. We believe he has the ability to be a great player for us.”

The addition of Niu is significant for the Cowboys, who are now ranked 54th nationally in the 247Sports 2025 recruiting rankings. Niu is the 17th player to join the class, and he adds another dimension to a roster that is already boasting a talented group of prospects.

Niu’s commitment comes with a family connection as well, with his younger brother, Bryton, a three-star tight end in the 2026 recruiting class, holding an offer from the Cowboys.

With a talented quarterback like Jett Niu now on board, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are poised for continued success in the future.
