**COLUMBUS, OHIO** – Week 3 of the Ohio high school football season saw a number of standout performances across the state. Here are some of the top highlights:

**Dominant Performances:**

* **Shelby Whippets:** The Whippets rolled over Bellevue 34-0, their first shutout over their old Northern Ohio League foe since 2017. Brayden DeVito led the way with 148 passing yards, 157 rushing yards, and four touchdowns.
* **Ontario Warriors:** Bodpegn Miller and Mason Vantilburg were unstoppable for the Warriors in their victory over Madison. Miller threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns, while Vantilburg ran for 162 yards and two touchdowns.
* **Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings:** Bo Jackson, headed to Ohio State, led the Vikings to a 60-0 blowout of Mansfield Senior, running for 197 yards and three touchdowns. VASJ’s offense was prolific, amassing 537 total yards.
* **Cardington-Lincoln Redmen:** Wyatt Denney and Kalin Briggs combined for 298 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 46-8 victory over Bucyrus.
* **Hardin Northern Polar Bears:** Nolan Hopson ran for a whopping 272 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries in a 29-0 win over Cory-Rawson.
* **Granville Blue Aces:** Beckett Long threw four touchdown passes, all to Noble Terebuh, in a 48-12 victory over Johnstown, extending their regular-season win streak to 16.
* **Newark Wildcats:** Newark jumped to 3-0 for the first time in eight years with a 35-15 win over Zanesville, with five different players scoring touchdowns.
* **Ironton Fighting Tigers:** Shaun Terry caught five passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns in a 63-7 blowout of Cabell Midland (W. Va.).
* **Coal Grove Hornets:** Kaden Murphy rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns, and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in a 39-33 win over Meigs.

* **Portsmouth West Senators:** Mason Parker rushed for a massive 311 yards and four touchdowns in a 27-21 win over Hillsboro.
* **Cadiz Harrison Central Huskies:** Despite a loss, the Huskies’ potent ground attack had another big night, rushing for 360 yards and four touchdowns. Mykel Quito led the way with 280 yards and two touchdowns.
* **Steubenville Catholic Central Crusaders:** The Crusaders’ defense shut down Bishop Rosecrans in an 8-7 victory, holding the Bishops under 100 yards of offense.
* **Manchester Greyhounds:** Ronnie Elam returned a kickoff for a touchdown and caught a 42-yard touchdown pass in a 28-21 victory over Green.
* **Arcanum Trojans:** MJ Macy ran for 206 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-6 win over Mississinawa Valley.

* **Piqua Indians:** Jericho Burns rushed for 192 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 24-13 win over Stebbins.
* **Marion Local Flyers:** Marion Local dominated St. Henry 42-9 to win its 51st straight game.
* **Springfield Wildcats:** Springfield earned its first win, 15-14 over Trotwood-Madison with a last-minute touchdown pass and two-point conversion.
* **Vandalia-Butler Aviators:** Vandalia-Butler moved to 3-0 with a 21-13 win over Troy, their first victory over Troy since the Miami Valley League was formed in 2019.
* **Miami East Vikings:** Miami East is 3-0 for the first time since 2018 after rallying to beat Springfield Northwestern 21-20.
* **Fairfield Indians:** Tyler George rushed 21 times for 193 yards and four touchdowns, including a 94-yard touchdown run in a 56-3 win over Sycamore.
* **Western Brown Broncos:** Brady Sutton threw for 486 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-20 win over Chillicothe.
* **Wyoming Cowboys:** Joel Hancock rushed for 259 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-13 win over Bethel-Tate.

* **Waynesville Warriors:** Garrett Lundy rushed for 187 yards and Alex Amburgy rushed for 152 yards to lead Waynesville past Goshen 49-7.
* **Springfield Kenton Ridge Cougars:** Springfield Kenton Ridge remained unbeaten with a 58-0 win over Columbus Mifflin.
* **Bellefontaine Chieftains:** Tavien St. Clair passed for 126 yards and Carter Caudill rushed for 163 to lead Bellefontaine past Westerville Central 29-7.
* **Greeneview Rams:** Alex Horney passed for 93 yards and rushed for 167 to lead unbeaten Greeneview past West Liberty-Salem 42-14.
* **Beverly Fort Frye Cadets:** Clayton Miller rushed for 259 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-19 victory at Wheeling Central Catholic.
* **Waterford Wildcats:** Hayden Jones scored four second-half touchdowns, leading the Wildcats to a 35-7 victory at Sarahsville Shenandoah.
* **Middlefield Cardinal Huskies:** Reese Soltis caught 10 passes for 181 yards and a school-record four touchdowns, and he returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for another score to lead the Huskies over Orwell Grand Valley 36-33.
* **Maumee Panthers:** Ben Kubicz completed 11-of-13 passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-18 victory over Toledo Bowsher.
* **Paint Valley Bearcats:** Braylon Robertson rushed 18 times for 129 yards and one touchdown, becoming Paint Valley’s all-time leading rusher with 4,100 career rushing yards.
* **Piketon Redstreaks:** Luke Gullion rushed for 183 yards and three touchdowns to lead Piketon to a 25-14 win over Lucasville Valley.
* **Eastern Eagles of Pike County:** The Eagles are off to a 3-0 start after losing eight starters to graduation.
* **Napoleon Wildcats:** Trey Rubinstein caught three passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns, returned a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown, and recorded five tackles in a 53-0 rout of Sylvania Northview.
* **Defiance Bulldogs:** Anthony Wilder rushed for 203 yards, caught four passes for 50 yards, threw a go-ahead 10-yard touchdown pass, and ripped off an 80-yard run to seal a 14-10 win over St. Marys Memorial.
* **Liberty Center Tigers:** Waylon Rentz rushed for 166 yards and a touchdown and led the Tiger defense with 10 tackles in a 37-7 victory over Tontogany Otsego.
* **Paulding Panthers:** Blake Rhonehouse hauled in five catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns, tallied five tackles on defense, and intercepted two passes in a 27-2 win over Delphos Jefferson.
* **Bishop Watterson Eagles:** Drew Bellisari rushed 10 times for 180 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-6 home win over Westerville North.
