This marks the first launch since MG Motor India partnered with Jindal Steel Works (JSW) in a strategic move that brings together the expertise of both companies.

The Windsor EV, a rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV sold in China, is positioned as a CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) that offers the spaciousness of an MPV and the agility of a hatchback. It slots in between the Comet EV and the ZS EV in terms of pricing and size, with an introductory price of ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

* **Spacious interior:** Boasting a class-leading 604-liter boot space, the Windsor EV prioritizes practicality.
* **Powerful performance:** The 38kWh LFP battery powers a single electric motor producing 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, offering an ARAI-certified range of 331 km on a single charge.
* **Advanced technology:** The Windsor EV comes equipped with iSmart connected car technology, featuring over 80 features and 100 AI-based voice commands, including 30 in Hinglish.
* **Safety first:** Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, all four disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, ESC, and a 360-degree camera.
* **Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS):** The Windsor EV is the first in India to offer BaaS, which allows customers to rent the battery for ₹3.50 per kilometer, significantly reducing the overall cost of ownership.
* **Lifetime warranty:** The first set of Windsor EV owners receive a lifetime warranty for the EV, covering unlimited kilometers.
* **Multiple charging options:** Charging options include 3.3 kW (13.8 hours), 7.4 kW (6.5 hours), and 50 kW (55 minutes), with support for 45 kW DC fast charging.
