HANNIBAL, MO – The Hannibal Lady Pirates volleyball team continued their winning streak on Wednesday, sweeping the Troy Trojans in three straight sets (25-14, 25-16, 25-14) at Korf Gymnasium. This victory marked their third consecutive win to start the season.

Senior Abbie Martin led the Lady Pirates with an impressive performance, racking up 13 digs, five aces, four kills, and one set assist. Sophomore Aly Falconer also contributed significantly with two aces, five digs, six kills, and 13 assists.

Junior Malia Stolte continued her strong start to the season, contributing 10 kills, 14 set assists, 10 digs, and a block. Senior Emilia Bates added five aces, one kill, and one block, while junior Kegan Greening compiled eight digs and one ace. Senior Zanie Terrill chipped in with two digs and an assist.

The Hannibal junior varsity team also secured a victory in two sets, with May Evans leading the way with 14 assists and three digs, and Brooke Hess contributing five kills. Marissa Falconer shone with six kills, six digs, and two aces.

The Hannibal freshman team also claimed a win in two sets (25-11, 25-19). Ella Ricker excelled with four aces, 14 set assists, and four digs, while Addilyn Roach added five kills.

The Lady Pirates will look to continue their winning ways on Monday, as they host North Central Missouri Conference opponent Marshall (1-3) at 7 p.m.
