New York singer-songwriter Allegra Krieger has released the title track, “Roosevelt Ave,” from her upcoming album “Art Of The Unseen Infinity Machine.” The song, described as “blissfully tranquil” by critics, is inspired by Krieger’s personal experiences of change and uncertainty.
“I wrote this song in a sort of fever dream state,” Krieger shared in a press release, “inspired by some abrupt life changes and a walk through Queens down Roosevelt Ave. During this time in my life, everything felt very vivid, fragile, and temporary.”
The song’s gentle melody and introspective lyrics reflect this feeling of transience, creating a beautifully melancholic atmosphere. The accompanying video, directed by Lilliana Villines, further enhances the song’s ethereal mood.
“Art Of The Unseen Infinity Machine” is set to be released on September 13th via Double Double Whammy. The album features previously released tracks “Never Arriving,” “Into Eternity,” and “Came.”
