**LONDON -** The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has announced that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with cancer nearly six months ago. The 42-year-old royal shared the news in a video message released on Sept. 9, expressing immense relief and highlighting the difficult journey she and her family have endured.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” Kate said in the message. “Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

She described the cancer journey as “complex, scary and unpredictable” for everyone involved. “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before,” Kate added.

The Princess emphasized the importance of finding gratitude amidst challenging times. “Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus,” she said. “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”

While acknowledging the long road ahead, Kate expressed optimism about the future. “I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”

She also expressed her appreciation for the support she and her husband, Prince William, have received during this challenging time. “Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling,” she concluded.

The Princess’s initial diagnosis was announced in March. Kate had undergone abdominal surgery in January and was initially told her condition was non-cancerous. However, further testing revealed the presence of cancer, leading to her chemotherapy treatment.

The Princess of Wales’s update comes as a hopeful message to those navigating their own cancer journeys.
