**Misano Adriatico, Italy:** Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia set a new lap record at Misano, securing pole position for the San Marino Grand Prix. He led a Ducati sweep of the front row, with Franco Morbidelli and Marco Bezzecchi completing the top three.

Bagnaia, a two-time winner at Misano, dominated the session from the start. He praised the bike’s performance and his own feeling, despite not being at 100% physically.

Meanwhile, Marc Marquez, who had a victorious weekend on Ducati machinery last time out, crashed out of Q2, ending his session in ninth. The crash occurred at Turn 15, highlighting the difficult conditions on track.

The rest of the front row was dominated by Ducati riders, with Jorge Martin, Pedro Acosta, and Brad Binder following the top three. Alex Marquez, who also advanced through Q1, edged out Enea Bastianini, who suffered an engine problem in FP2.

Fabio Quartararo was the best Yamaha rider in 10th, finishing just 0.7 seconds behind Bagnaia. Aprilia’s Maverick Viñales encountered a technical issue in Q2 but still secured the best qualifying position for his brand in 11th.

Other notable incidents included Pol Espargaro’s crash during Q1, which eliminated him from the session, and Joan Mir’s withdrawal due to a stomach virus.
