2. Rajnath Singh is scheduled to address public gatherings in Ramban and Banihal assembly segments on Sunday.
3. Security has already been increased district-wide in anticipation of the assembly elections.
4. Patrolling and security measures have been increased on the National Highway and link roads in the district.
5. The first phase of assembly elections will be held on 24 seats, including Ramban and Banihal, on September 18.
6. Other political leaders, such as Rahul Gandhi and Dr. Jitendra Singh, have also addressed public gatherings in support of their party candidates in the Ramban and Banihal constituencies.
7. Candidates from various parties conducted election meetings in Gool, Banihal, and Ukhral on Friday.
