‘John Wick’ Stars Collide in Action-Packed Thriller ‘Diablo,’ Now Streaming on Prime Video
LOS ANGELES, CA – Fans of the John Wick franchise looking for more action featuring its impressive cast of character actors and martial arts masters need look no further than “Diablo,” now a streaming hit on Prime Video. The film stars Scott Adkins and Marko Zaror, both of whom recently appeared in “John Wick: Chapter 4,” where they faced off against Keanu Reeves’ iconic assassin.
Adkins, known for his extensive work in the action genre, played the memorable Berlin crime boss Killa Harkan in “John Wick 4,” while Zaror portrayed Chidi, the relentless second-in-command to the film’s antagonist.
“Diablo,” directed by Ernesto Díaz Espinoza, pits Adkins and Zaror against each other in a high-octane thriller. Adkins plays a man on a mission to protect a mob boss’s kidnapped daughter, while Zaror embodies a deadly assassin with a hidden, and unusual weapon, hired to hunt them down.
While the plot is secondary to the action, critics and audiences agree that “Diablo” shines when Adkins and Zaror engage in their brutal fight sequences. The film currently holds a 71% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
