Wed Dec 31 18:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Dame Dash’s Film Company Sold for a Paltry $100 Amid Debt Crisis
New York, NY – Damon “Dame” Dash’s financial woes continue as his film company, Poppington LLC, was sold at auction this week for a mere $100. The sale was triggered by outstanding debts stemming from several civil lawsuits against the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder.
The New York Post exclusively reported that Mike Muntaser, CEO of Muddy Water Motion Pictures, was the sole bidder at the auction on Tuesday. Muntaser, who previously sued Dash alongside filmmaker Josh Webber, acquired Poppington LLC, adding another chapter to their contentious history.
“I think he’s a fool, man,” Muntaser told the New York Post, expressing his disdain for Dash. “He’s just a problem. He has an ego. I think he’s just bitter coming from where he was to where he is, and he just blames everybody else and doesn’t look at himself in the mirror.”
Webber and Muntaser previously filed a defamation lawsuit against Dash following negative comments he made about them during an appearance on The Breakfast Club earlier this year.
Chris Brown, Webber’s attorney, expressed surprise at the lack of interest in Dash’s assets at the auction. “So I have no idea why he continues to slander Josh [Webber],” Brown stated. “Frankly, what I desire the most is for him to just stop talking about my clients.”
The sale of Poppington LLC marks another setback for Dash, who has faced ongoing financial challenges in recent years. The low price tag underscores the severity of his debt and the diminished value of his assets.
