PUDUCHERRY, December 29, 2025 – Vice President CP Radhakrishnan is scheduled to arrive in Puducherry today for a day-long visit, during which he will participate in a civic reception, inaugurate a housing project, unveil a statue, and address the convocation of Pondicherry University.

The Vice President’s itinerary includes attending a civic reception hosted by the government at the Kamban Kalaiarangam. Following this, Mr. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate a housing project completed under the Smart City Mission at Kumaraguru Pallam, handing over keys to five beneficiary families. He will also unveil the Bharathiyar Statue at Bharathiar Memorial.

Later in the morning, he is scheduled to open the Senior Secondary Block of Petit Seminar School, Moolakulam.

In the afternoon, the Vice President will serve as the chief guest at the 30th convocation ceremony of Pondicherry University, where he will deliver the convocation address.

Following his Puducherry engagements, Mr. Radhakrishnan will travel to Thiruvananthapuram and then Madurai to participate in the valedictory ceremony of Kashi Tamil Sangham 4.0 at the Alayam Grounds, Rameswaram, before returning to Delhi.

Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan chaired a meeting on Sunday to review the arrangements for the Vice President’s visit. He instructed officials to ensure smooth execution of the events with minimal public inconvenience.
