South Central Railway Announces Infrastructure Boost and Revenue Growth in 2025
Hyderabad, India – December 28, 2025 – The South Central Railway (SCR) announced a significant expansion of its infrastructure and a notable increase in revenue for the period ending November 2025. According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer A. Sridhar, the SCR added 199 kilometers of track, including new lines, double lines, and third lines. The railway also eliminated 68 manned level crossings, enhancing safety and efficiency.

Automatic Block Signalling was commissioned over 529 km, increasing line capacity and enabling more train operations.
