Warsaw, Poland – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed plans to meet with former U.S. President Donald Trump this Sunday in Florida. The meeting is expected to focus on a potential peace agreement, security guarantees, and strategies to put pressure on Moscow, according to Ukrinform.

The news comes as diplomatic activity intensifies around the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. On Friday, Polish President Karol Nawrocki held a phone call with Trump, as confirmed by the Polish Presidential Chancellery. The call included Christmas greetings and discussions on transatlantic relations, regional security related to the war in Ukraine, and progress on potential peace agreements.

Notably, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis also reported having a phone call with Trump on Friday. Meanwhile, the French Presidential Palace announced that no phone conversation between President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin is currently planned. Macron had previously expressed a willingness to resume dialogue with Putin.

In other news, a major traffic accident involving nine vehicles occurred on the S8 highway near Przewodowice, injuring nine people, including five children. The highway was blocked for several hours, causing significant traffic delays.
