Thu Dec 18 02:40:00 UTC 2025: Hyderabad, December 18, 2025 – Actress Nidhhi Agerwal was reportedly mobbed and harassed at a song launch event for her upcoming film “Raja Saab” held at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad yesterday. The event, which was meant to celebrate the release of the film’s second single, took a disturbing turn when a large crowd of fans surrounded the actress as she was leaving the venue.

Eyewitness accounts and videos circulating on social media show Agerwal struggling to navigate through the throng of people. Reports indicate that some individuals in the crowd took advantage of the situation, allegedly behaving inappropriately and touching her without consent.

Agerwal’s staff struggled to control the crowd and create a path for her to reach her vehicle. Video footage shows the actress visibly distressed as she made her way through the mob.

The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many condemning the behavior of the individuals involved. Singer Chinmayi Sripada expressed her anger on X (formerly Twitter), calling the perpetrators “worse than hyenas” and demanding accountability.

“A group of men behaved worse than hyenas… Why even insult hyenas? If men with trash minds are kept together, they’ll treat women like this. God should take them away and drop them on different planets,” Sripada wrote.

“Raja Saab,” starring Prabhas and directed by Maruthi, is scheduled for release on January 9th. The film features three female leads, including Agerwal.

This incident raises serious concerns about crowd control and security measures at public events, highlighting the need for better protocols to protect performers and attendees. Local authorities have yet to comment on the situation.
