NEW YORK, NY – Former First Lady Melania Trump is granting audiences a rare and unfiltered look into her life with the upcoming film, “MELANIA,” set to premiere in theaters worldwide on January 30, 2026. The film, produced by Amazon MGM Studios, focuses on the 20 days leading up to the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump.

“MELANIA” promises unprecedented access, showcasing Mrs. Trump navigating family, business, and philanthropic endeavors during this pivotal period. The trailer, exclusively obtained by Fox News, offers glimpses into Trump Tower, Mar-a-Lago, and the White House.

Amazon reportedly won the rights to the film in a competitive bidding war, securing both film and documentary series, with a deal rumored to be around $40 million. Disney, Netflix, and Paramount were also reportedly interested.

According to Marc Beckman, Mrs. Trump’s agent and exclusive senior advisor, Mrs. Trump was hands on through production to ensure the post-production marketing is executed properly. The film is directed by Brett Ratner and is executive produced by Trump and Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media. The former first lady did not want the film to look like a documentary, but rather an elevated film.

The release of “MELANIA” follows the successful launch of her memoir of the same name, which topped the New York Times Best Seller list.
