Los Angeles, CA – Peacock has released a full trailer for its upcoming espionage thriller, “The Copenhagen Test,” starring Simu Liu as intelligence analyst Alexander Hale, whose brain has been hacked. The series, set to premiere on December 27, follows Hale as he races against time to clear his name and uncover the hackers who have invaded his mind.
The trailer offers a deeper look into the show’s premise, showcasing Liu’s character caught between his agency and the unknown hackers who now have access to everything he sees and hears. Hale must maintain a constant performance to flush out the perpetrators and prove his loyalty.
Melissa Barrera co-stars as an agent tasked with monitoring Hale’s every move. The cast also includes Sinclair Daniel, Brian d’Arcy James, Mark O’Brien, and Kathleen Chalfant.
“The Copenhagen Test,” executive produced by James Wan, is produced by Universal Studio Group’s UCP. The series was created by Thomas Brandon, who also serves as co-showrunner with Jennifer Yale. The eight-episode season will be available to stream on Peacock starting December 27.
