Mon Dec 15 17:17:20 UTC 2025: ## Chennai Navy Half Marathon Draws Over 8,000 Participants
Chennai, India – December 15, 2025 – Over 8,000 runners participated in the inaugural Chennai Navy Half Marathon today. Organized in partnership with Bank of Baroda, the event was flagged off at INS Adyar by Debadatta Chand, Managing Director and CEO of Bank of Baroda, and Rear Admiral Satish Shenai, NM, Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Naval Area (FOTNA). M. Annadurai, Executive Director and State Head for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Indian Oil Corporation, also attended the launch. The marathon featured three race categories: a 21.1-km Half Marathon, a 10-km Run, and a 5-km Fun Run. The event was a resounding success, drawing participants from across the region.
