As of Sunday, December 14, 2025, the water level in the Mullaperiyar dam stood at 136.10 feet, within the permissible level of 142 feet. The dam received an inflow of 450 cusecs and discharged 1,600 cusecs.

The Vaigai dam recorded a water level of 63.58 feet, below its maximum level of 71 feet. The inflow into the Vaigai dam was significantly higher at 1,368 cusecs, while the discharge was 2,154 cusecs.
