Nellore, December 14, 2025: The Nellore Zilla Parishad has unanimously approved the annual budget estimates for the financial year 2026-2027 and the revised budget estimates for 2025-2026, during a general body meeting held on Saturday.

Zilla Parishad Chairperson Anam Arunamma announced the approval, stating that the 2026-2027 budget projects an income and expenditure of ₹61.07 crore each, resulting in a surplus budget estimate of ₹52,104.

The revised estimates for FY 2025-26 reflect an income of ₹76.45 crore and an expenditure of ₹71.98 crore.

The meeting saw the participation of key figures including Kavali MLA D.V. Krishna Reddy, Sullurpeta MLA Nelavala Vijayasri, Joint Collector Mogili Venkateshwarlu, Zilla Parishad CEO Sridhar Reddy, along with ZPTC and MPP members.

Addressing the attendees, Chairperson Arunamma stressed the importance of addressing the issues raised by the members and urged department officials to take immediate action to resolve them.
