Bernthal & Thompson Accuse Each Other in New Netflix Thriller “His & Hers”

Los Angeles, CA – Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming psychological thriller limited series, “His & Hers,” starring Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson as the prime suspects of each other’s investigations of a murder.

Set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta and small-town Dahlonega, Georgia, the six-episode series follows Detective Jack Harper (Bernthal) and Anna (Thompson), a former news anchor pulled back from reclusion by a murder case in her hometown. Anna seeks answers, but Jack suspects her involvement, leading them into a tangled web of accusations and suspicion.

The trailer highlights the central conflict, with both characters denying involvement in the crime and suggesting the other is lying. “I didn’t hurt her, Anna. Do you know who did it?” Jack asks. Anna responds, “I didn’t do it, if that’s what you’re asking.” Anna later says, “There are two sides to every story. Ours and theirs. Yours and mine. His and hers. Which means someone is always lying.”

The series, adapted from the 2020 novel by Alice Feeney, features a stellar supporting cast including Pablo Schreiber, Crystal Fox, Sunita Mani, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Marin Ireland, and Poppy Liu.

William Oldroyd and Dee Johnson serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Additional executive producers include Thompson, Kristen Campo (Campout Productions), Jessica Chastain and Kelly Carmichael (Freckle Films), and Kishori Rajan (Viva Maude). The series is produced by Fifth Season.

“His & Hers” will be available to stream on Netflix starting January 8, 2026.
