Sun Dec 14 11:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Delmarva Braces for Sunday Snow, Slippery Conditions Expected

DELMARVA, MD – December 14, 2025 – Delmarva residents should prepare for a snowy Sunday morning, with accumulations potentially leading to slippery road conditions. WBOC Chief Meteorologist Mike Lichniak forecasts a likely snowfall across much of the peninsula, beginning early Sunday and continuing into the afternoon.

While not expected to be a major winter storm, the snowfall is predicted to range from 1 to 3 inches for most of Delaware and the Mid-Shore. Areas closer to the I-95 corridor could see slightly higher amounts, with potential accumulations of 3 to 5 inches if the storm overperforms. The further south you live on Delmarva, the less snow you are expected to receive.

The National Weather Service predicts temperatures to drop from a morning high of 39F to near 20F by the afternoon, accompanied by strong NNW winds at 20 to 30 mph, with higher gusts possible. Some passing clouds are expected after the snow. The low temperature is expected to be 18F with winds from the NW at 15-25 mph.

WBOC will provide live coverage on WBOC News This Morning starting at 8 a.m. Sunday. A special winter weather livestream will follow on the WBOC News App, website, and Facebook page at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
