Fri Dec 12 17:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Silverfield Era Begins at Home: Razorbacks Unveil 2026 Football Schedule
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Razorbacks have released their 2026 football schedule, marking the official start of the Ryan Silverfield era. The Hogs will kick off the season on September 5th at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium against the North Alabama Lions, in what will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
Silverfield, the new Head Hog, will lead the team through a challenging schedule featuring seven home games and five Southeastern Conference matchups. This season marks the SEC’s inaugural nine-game conference schedule, increasing the stakes for every team.
Following the home opener, Arkansas will travel to Utah on September 12th for another program first – the first-ever gridiron contest between the Razorbacks and the Utes. The road trip marks the Hogs’ third game against a Big 12 opponent in five years.
The Razorbacks will return to Fayetteville for two consecutive home games, starting with their SEC opener against the Georgia Bulldogs on September 19th. This will be Georgia’s first visit to Razorback Stadium since 2020. The final non-conference game of the season is scheduled for September 26th against Tulsa, renewing a rivalry that dates back to 1899 and marks the 74th meeting between the teams.
October brings a three-game stretch with road trips to Texas A&M (Oct. 3) and Vanderbilt (Oct. 17) sandwiching a home game against Tennessee (Oct. 10). The game in College Station will be the first since 2020 and Nashville will be the first since 2011.
The Razorbacks will have a bye week on October 24th before returning home to face Missouri on October 31st. The annual Battle Line Rivalry with Mizzou has been moved from its traditional season-ending slot for the first time since Missouri joined the SEC.
November will see the Hogs travel to Auburn on November 7th before finishing the regular season with two of the last three games at home. South Carolina will visit Fayetteville on November 14th for the first time since 2022. A road game against Texas on November 21st will be the final road contest of the season. The regular season will conclude on November 28th with the Battle for the Golden Boot against LSU in Fayetteville.
Football season ticket renewals are open from January 20th through March 31st. New season tickets are available for purchase online, with new purchasers having the opportunity to select their seat locations in April during Razorback Seat Selection.
